People ask me how they can STAY organized after we work together. I was thinking about what determines which clients STAY organized and it occurred to me that the client who are ready to do less and have less get better results. Clients who are “getting organized” so they can squeeze more into their day or their space often find themselves struggling again. This is probably because they have not decided what “enough” is in their life and their systems have not stabilized and are still hard manage. They continue to add and add without ever subtracting! People get the best results when they are ready for change and start to see that less is more.

I have been trying to make better choices in the supermarket this summer. This has been alot easier since my 19 year old daughter came home from the University of Vermont. She has lots of ideas on being green and is transforming our already green home product by product. We are all learning! We are also all questioning some of the new practices and products and finding some interesting information in the process!
The concept of “green washing” means to package something as if it is environmentally friendly to make consumers pay a premium for something that is ordinary. For example when brands advertize themselves as organic and paint a pretty picture of free range cows that have “access” to acres of pasture but usually they are using sneaky wording to create a false image. Make sure that the extra money you’re spending to get the organic label is money well spent. The Cornucopia Institute created a rating of dairy producers: http://cornucopia.org/dairysurvey/FarmID_153.html and I was surprised to see that the top rated milk producer was in my own sate of Pennsylvania. Find out how the milk you’ve been drinking compares.
If you want to experiment with raw milk find a distributor near you: http://www.realmilk.com/where2.html and remember that it tastes great!
